I haven't used my frame grip yet, but I've helped other beekeepers and used theirs. It's an excellent tool especially when wearing gloves because it can be difficult to pull a frame out when the bulky glove tips don't fit between them. The only way I can see to improve the frame grip tool would be to attach a folding ultimate hive tool or other scraping/cutting implement. Adding this would make a tool that grips frames as well as loosens them from the propolis sealed boxes.

Problem was that it was supposed to come with 2 not 1 spings. Waiting to see if another is sent or if i will have to buy one.
